hello to everyone there!
i'm a REALLY proud owner of sansamp gt2 & bass driver d.i. products.i'm
really very happy to use these products for about 6-7 months now and they
are incredible!i use the gt2 live ,as the final pedal at my chain before the
console at the club i play live.also i use the bass driver di , with an old
jazz bass ,connected to the soundcard of my computer, for recording
purposes.
now here are my questions.
i want to amplify the gt2, to drive a cabinet loaded with an eminence delta
pro 12 for my stratocasters.i read at your faq , that the power engine
series is a dedicated solution.
1)is this the only solution , or i can use these 2 tech 21 pedals straight
into any power amp ???
Yes, you can use any power amp, but many amps have a limited dynamic range. The Power Engines offer a more extended range.
We realise that your choice of speakers might work best with 100 watts, or 200 watts, so you might be forced to use another brand of power amp, and it will still sound great. We just feel it'll sound ever better with a Power Engine.
2)the only differences between power engine 300 & 400 are the watts and the
stereo or mono abilities?
Yes, that's correct.
3) i can't find the owner's manual for these 2 power engines.i always read
the manual of the product i need before i buy it.is it possible to have it
in a pdf format?

4)i heard the power engine 60 with the gt2 only! it was really goooood!!! is
there enough power for this powered cab , to play together with a loud
drummer, a bass player who has a 350 watt bass combo and 2 keyboards
players?
I don't think it's going to be the 60 watts that might pose the problem... Any 1x12 cabinet is very "directional", and it's difficult to fill a room with sound (step two feet to the left or right, and you can't hear the guitar anymore!) In a band with loud drums and two keyboards, the Power Engine would work best as your personal monitor (up on a stand, so the sound can reach your ears), while you feed its signal to the PA (which can make you loud enough to sit in the overall mix).
5)the power engines 300/400 can be connected into ANY guitar/bass cab?
As long as they're 8 or 16 ohms.
6)what type of connectors are there at the back of power engine 300/400:
speakon?xlr?
1/4" and XLR. You'll find a diagram in the manual.
7)are there any photos or some other info to download from anywhere about
these products?
Only what's on the website, and the manual link I've provided.
i'm interested and i will be very pleased to heve an answer from you.
thank you for your time.
Regards,
Lloyd Schwartz, Product Manager
