Solo στο Love Hurts. Πώς γίνεται αυτό το χωρίς e-bow

Στο πρωτο video, αν και οντως 100% playback, η Τele περα απο Bigsby μοιαζει να εχει κι αλλα ...σιδερικα. Δοθεντος οτι το σολο το παιζει στη σι, πιθανολογω τη χρηση b-bender ή καποιας "πονηριας" πανω στη σι.

Σε συνδυασμο πιθανοτατα, με ελεγχομενο feedback.

Παντως, εχει σιγουρα μια "αρχικη" πενια και μετα παει ολο ..."αερα".

Εξαιρετικο, whatsoever.     αλλα ΠΟΛΥ ασχημαντρας ο τραγουδιστης...

 
Είχα μια απάντηση στο επίσημο forum του Manny Charlton.

Η απάντηση λέει:

"I think Manny explained this before: I forget what guitar he used (but in 75 it was probably a Gibson Les Paul) plugged straight into the Marshall, turned the volume to the absolute max, then used a slide to "control the beast" ... simple, but incredibly effective. It is perhaps THE best guitar solo's on any ballad for me. Very emotive too. Apparently it is hard to control how the sound comes out using this technique, but Manny is of course a master at his art and by his own admission he "does not play anything difficult"... Hope not to put words in Manny's mouth here, but that's how I remember his answer when I read it somewhere earlier...

Τελικά ο ίδιος ο Manny απάντησε σε thread!

H απάντησή του επιβεβαιώνει ότι είχε χρησιμοποιήσει slide και πολύ τσιτωμένο ενισχυτή:

pretty much how Nyssefan said, but the guitar was a black Strat I had at the time.used the same idea on the solo for This Flight tonit
