για το θεμα του ποσο καλα παιρνει τα πεταλια ενας fender γενικοτερα,εχω κρατησει το Post ενος τεχνικου απο το gear page και το κανω copy paste:
fender and marshalls as a pedal platform:
preamp distortion in Fenders sounds very different from preamp distortion in Marshalls, largely because the tone stack comes before the distortion, whereas in the Marshall circuit most of the distortion comes after the tone stack...especially when the input is boosted.
Use the amp to amplify - cleanly or nearly so - an overdrive or distortion pedal set to add distortion not level (or not much), and it will sound much better. FWIW, contrary to popular belief, even SRV did not set his Tube Screamers to boost much - there's a pic of his settings somewhere which shows that both pedals have the gain fairly high (one just over half, one about 3 o'clock I think) and the levels at only just over half.
