Well....just got back from another successful gig with my Hubers and I have come to a conclusion I thought I would never reach...
I used to own a ton of guitars and now I only own a select few, thanks to Nik! LOL!! All of my guitars have been sold, and the only guitars I have left are my two Hubers and some Bakers. Everything else has become obsolete and therefore expendable. Fenders, Gibsons, PRSs, Hamer USA, McNaught, McInturff, Jackson USA, Suhr, etc...all gone...and I don't miss them at all.
I will keep my Bakers as IMHO they are the best at doing the Les Paul thing...even better than Gibson...unless you go vintage.
But my Hubers cover about 90% of that territory and are *way* more versatile. I used to take 4 or 5 guitars to every gig...now I take two...both Hubers. I play in a cover band that does a *wide* range of things...last night we did Gin N Juice by Snoop Dogg, Figured You Out by Nickelback, and Take It On The Run by REO....LOL!! Granted...there isn't a whole lot of guitar virtuosity in those songs...but for one guitar (my Korina Dolphin) to be able to get that variety of sounds is still astounding to me.
Nik...words cannot express how grateful I am for these guitars. You have simplified my rig to the point of ridiculousness.
Here is a small sample of guitars that have gone on to more appreciative hands...
