Pedal switcher - looper

Γειά!

 

Επειδή γενικά δεν μπορώ να βρω ακριβώς τις πληροφορίες που θέλω για τα switchers - loopers για να δω τι ακριβώς μου κάνει , μπορεί κάποιος να κάνει μια περιγραφή , πως δουλεύει , πόσα πετάλια πέρνει κτλ

Έχω τα εξής πετάλια ,

 

Boss volume pedal (δε θυμάμαι ποιό)

Ένα tuner

Γενικά ίσως να γίνει expand με 1  το πάρα πολύ 2 πετάλια το όλο θέμα , πως γίνεται με τις ενώσεις , τι μπορεί να κάνει σε επίπεδο σειράς συνδεσμολογίας , presets κλπ

 

Ο compressor δε με νοιάζει να ειναι στο τέλος και εκτώς switcher τον έχω μόνο για να μαζεύω τα ατελείωτα feedbacks απο τα delay...

Καταρχην με τοσο λιγα πεταλια δεν νομιζω να εχεις αναγκη καποιο switcher - looper αλλα μια και ρωτας καλο ειναι να μαθεις τι ακριβως κανουν:

 

Υπαρχουν απλα Passive loopers στα οποια απλα βαζεις τα πεταλια σου και τα ανοιγοκλεινεις απο τα switches του looper.Aυτο κυριως γινεται αν καποιος εχει ΠΟΛΛΑ πεταλια και η σειριακη συνδεση τους του προκαλει απωλεια ή αλλοιωση σηματος.Χρησιμοποιωντας ενα τετοιο looper το σημα σου κανει bypass τα μη χρησιμοποιουμενα πεταλια και παραμενει "καθαροτερο".

 

Μπορεις φυσικα να ανοιξεις πολλους διακοπτες μαζι παιζοντας ταυτοχρονα πολλα πεταλια δεν σου δινουν ομως τη δυνατοτητα να ενεργοποιησεις πολλα πεταλια μαζι με το πατημα ενος διακοπτη.

 

Λειτουργουν και χωρις ρευμα αλλα αν θες να βλεπεις τα on/off λαμπακια θα πρεπει να τα συνδεσεις με 9βολτη παροχη.

 

Kαποια απο αυτα εχουν και buffers εκει που πρεπει (δηλ. στην αρχη ή/και στο τελος της σειρας) ωστε να μη χανεις και το απαραιτητο buffering σε μεγαλα μηκη καλωδιων καθως και tuner out (για να μη χανεις μια θεση για tuner)

 

Αυτη ειναι μια αξιοπιστη και οικονομικη λυση

Παμε τωρα στα switcher loopers

 

Ο λογος που καποιος ΧΡΕΙΑΖΕΤΑΙ μια τετοια λυση ειναι για να αποφυγει το TAP DANCING που θα πρεπει να κανει αν θελει να χρησιμοποιησει ΜΑΖΙ πολλα ΔΙΑΦΟΡΕΤΙΚΑ πεταλια,ετσι "σωζοντας" τους αγαπημενους ΣΥΝΔΙΑΣΜΟΥΣ του σε καποιο preset μπορει να τους κανει αμεσα recall με το πατημα ενος switch.

 

Φυσικα μπορουν να λειτουργησουν και ως απλοι loopers (χωρις συνδιασμους)

 

Τα switcher loopers συνηθως ειναι ΑΚΡΙΒΕΣ εως και ΠΑΝΑΚΡΙΒΕΣ λυσεις αν θες ΑΞΙΟΠΙΣΤΙΑ και midi/channel switching

τα πεταλια compessor ειναι καλυτερα να μπαινουν στην ΑΡΧΗ,συνηθως μετα τα drives (ή αναλογα με τη χρηση τους και πριν απο αυτα) αλλα σιγουρα ΠΡΙΝ τα modulation/delay/reverb...ειδικα αν τα εχεις ΣΥΝΕΧΩΣ ανοικτα.

Όχι ο κομπ είναι στο τέλος , το setup μου τώρα βασικά είναι,

 

tuner (volume pedal output)

volume -> dl4 -> rv3 -> gt2-> big muff -> compression.

 

Είναι setup για post , drones, wall of sounds etc.

 

το rv3 μερικές φορές κάνει το reverb/dly ή reverb σκέτο , άλλες φορές είναι 2ο dly και τα reverbs τα κάνει o TwinReverb.

 

 

Βασικά όλο το ζήτημα μου είναι αυτό που ανέφερες ως "Tap Dancing"... Αυτό το switch που έκανα paste apo Thomann δεν έχει preset banks etc?

Μάλιστα , είμαι officialy χαζός.

 

Δεν καταλαβαίνω τίποτα :D .

 

To midi function προφανώς δεν δουλεύει σε ένα boss πετάλι , θέλει delay με midi ...

 

άρα κανένα μου πετάλι δεν μπορεί να παραμετροποιηθεί με το midi function.

 

οκ αυτό δεν με πειράζει τόσο..

 

 

Αλλά στο looping:

 

 

EDITING LOOP COMBINATIONS

After entering

for more an 1 second, use the

if you want to ad an effects from the higher loops (LOOP 2: 1-4 or Loops 5-8 if counted from right to left)

if you want to add effects from the lower loops (LOOPS 1: 1-4 or Loops 1-4 if counted from right to

left).

setup, the A/B/C/D switches will turn ON (or OFF) Loops 4/3/2/1 respectively.

Loop 1

A: L4    B: L3    C:L2    D:L1

If in

EH

setup, the A/B/C/D switches will turn ON (or OFF) Loops 8/7/6/5 respectively.

Loop 2

A: L4 (8)            B: L3 (7)            C:L2 (6)            D:L1 (5)

After you have selects the loops you want, you can

EXIT

Edit mode by holding the

MUTE

switch again for

longer than 1 second. If you wish to exit without saving and revert back to your preset as it was before, just

click the

MUTE

switch shortly.

your foot on the switch. (like it is telling your gear STAY ON or STAY OFF)

Which one works best for your switching needs depends on your equipment. Consult the manual of your

gear or try both options and see what works best.

Pay attention to the Trigger LEDs to keep track of your changes.

This way, you can switch a series of pedals, which are connected to the loops (8 in front of the amp OR 4 in

front and 4 in the FX loop), and your amp (or other switchable device, like the Joyo D-Seed Dual Channel

Digital Delay) at the same time.

For example:

You could have your amp on the clean channel (e.g. Trigger 1 OFF) with an overdrive pedal,

chorus and some delay on PRESET A on Bank 1 and then switch to PRESET B, which switches to a phaser

and changes your amp to the distorted channel. All this can be accomplished with just one press of a

footswitch.

Pay attention to the Trigger LEDs to keep track of your changes.

The use of this mode is to be able to BYPASS all of your pedals (connected to the loops) and at the same

time switch your amp (or other switchable device).

For example:

You are on PRESET C on Bank 2, which you set up to be a nice clean sound, using the clean

channel of your amp, with a compressor, clean boost, chorus and reverb (4 pedals). Now you want to switch

easily to an overdriven rhythm sound, using the second channel on your amp, but without any effects. In this

case you program a BYPASSED TRIGGER ACTION to the same preset. (preset C on bank 2). Now you just

click the switch C on bank 2

AGAIN

, putting it into bypass and therefore bypassing all your pedals while at

the same time switching the channel on your amplifier.
